I have spent most of my working life in the creative industries as an advertising art director, graphic designer, illustrator, and photographer. In 1998, I decided to pursue my true passion for fine art, earning a BA in Fine Art Painting (First Class) at the University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham.

I make large-scale, detailed charcoal drawings inspired by natural forms. Confronted by the vastness of the landscape, I often feel overwhelmed, but by selecting small fragments, I can make more personal connections with the environment, finding intimacy within its complexity. The objects I choose are never random; each one grounds me in a specific time and place.
